Summary
We supported England Netball in the positioning of their Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) programme. We explored where the AASE programme relates to the talent development programme for young players aged 16-19.
Approach
We drew a comparison from other sports and used the Netball pilots in the South West and East Midlands to assist us, as well as the relationship with NVQ's. Through the process, we advised England Netball as to how best they could benefit both in the development of their talented players and income generation.
Outcome
We provided five options for Netball, which through the steering group, emerged to the favoured options moving forward.
