Summary
Sport Structures provided staff interim support for England Korfball in February & March 2019.
Approach
We were tasked with providing administrative support in the lag period between the national development officer leaving and the new appointment starting (8 weeks). This involved day to day management of the mailbox, member enquiries as well as leading on any active safeguarding cases. One of the key tasks including managing the lead up to the England Korfball AGM & Club Day in Cambridge. In the lead up to the day this involved organising logistics such as the schedule of the day and venue management, and communicating these with the appropriate partners. We were also responsible for the collation and distribution of key documents in relation to the AGM, and organising and monitoring the online & postal voting process. On the day of the event, we provided technical equipment and support, as well as documenting the minutes from the AGM and voting.
Outcome
The England Korfball AGM & Club Day was successfully delivered and process between Hannah Winsbury and Hannah Stockley was well managed and effective.
