We work in conjunction with Sport Across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent to support the delivery of coach and volunteer workshops.
Approach
As part of the partnership, we are responsible for organising a programme of minimum standards workshops to support coaches and volunteers in Stafford, East Staffordshire, South Staffordshire, Cannock, Lichfield and Tamworth. Our most popular workshops are safeguarding and emergency first aid. Our responsibilities include:
- Learner and resource administration
- Marketing
- Workforce allocation
- Responding to course requests
Key performance indicators are agreed at the start of every year and progress is monitored regularly.
Outcome
A programme of minimum standards workshops are now available to local coaches and volunteers.
