Summary
We developed a workshop aimed at the network of local authority partners within the partnership area to develop a workshop that will aid them in chairing meetings with a range of professionals and volunteers.
Approach
We took a facilitative approach in developing the workshop finding out the needs of the participants. We used a number of management models such as assessing influencing roles, leadership techniques, learning and delivery styles. The participants had an opportunity to lead different groups and reflect on their own practice.
Outcome
Participants felt they had learnt different tips and tactics to make their meetings more effective and interesting.
