It was great to work with Wrexham Borough Council staff and coaches from the local area in the last two months through delivery of the 1st4Sport Level 2 Award in Coaching Multi-Skills Development.
The course helps coaches to design, deliver and evaluate multi-skills activity sessions and make a positive impact on the children they’re working with by developing their movement confidence and sport-related skills. Over the three days, coaches explored fundamental movement and sport specific skills and considerations for long term athlete development.
Coaches will now be working in local schools to support the development of fundamental movement and sport skills.
