As part of our work on the Club Matters contract for Sport England, we are delivering an exciting new modular package of CPD opportunities for the professional workforce that support and develop sports clubs. This has been created based on the findings of a stakeholder survey of workforce development needs and our facilitation of a sector wide Club Workforce Group that aims to ensure the CPD we create is relevant and what is needed.
The first of the new CPD opportunities is fully underway. The workshop entitled Supporting Clubs to Succeed is a core workshop for anyone working directly with clubs. We recently completed the second workshop for the first cohort. Great to facilitate the learning and development of the 15 attendees. Our online learning system enabling interactive activities and plenty of discussion. The attendees now have 4 months to apply their knowledge, skills and behaviours with the support of action learning sets and a final reflective session.
