It’s Apprenticeship Week and here at Sport Structures we’re proud to be playing an active part in them. Apprenticeships are growing in popularity in the sport and physical activity sector and we are keen to promote the benefits they bring as more and more employers and individuals engage in them. We still find organisations and people that are unaware of what apprenticeships are and how they can be utilised.
An apprenticeship is a combination of a job and approved training programme which gives individuals the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for a specific job role. Apprenticeships can range from level 2 to level 7 and employers can recruit new staff or enrol existing staff onto an apprenticeship programme at any time. This week is a great opportunity for us to showcase how great apprenticeships are, and we’ll be sharing all the amazing work our team does to support employers and apprentices to train and develop individuals in their chosen career paths. If you have any questions on what apprenticeships are and how they may be able to support your organisation’s workforce needs, please get in touch with us.
