For the second time this season we are delivering the Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Basketball, this time in Cardiff. Fourteen learners started the course last Monday under the guidance of lead tutor Matt Nolan. The course guides learners to profile their players, plan a three month programme with their national league team and as well as learning other soft coaching skills the coaches will plan a series of coaching sessions and matches leading up to a final assessment. Their programme link in with the GB Basketball Areas of Emphasis and Club Skills guide as well as using FIBA coaching resources for the first time. Further courses are now filling up for October in Nottingham and London in February.
