Over the last few years, Sport Structures has evolved, quite considerably, as an education and training provider. As such, the services that we offer to the sport and physical activity sector have adapted and grown accordingly. It is, after all, our mission to develop people and organisations to be the best that they can be. In the last year, alone, we have delivered education and training to over 240 apprentices, engaged over 750 learners and delivered 236 Club Matters workshops on a range of topics.
One of the significant changes in our work has been the development of our provision to the sector’s professional workforce, particularly through our Sport England Club Matters contract and through the Management and Leadership apprenticeship standard. Through consultation, we have written a suite of training on behalf of Club Matters to upskill the sector on how best to support our sports clubs. We currently have over 30 people in management and leadership training from National Sports Organisations, National Governing Bodies, Active Partnerships and Community Sport Foundations.
But delivering learning is not all we do. We have always designed and developed learning, both for ourselves and on behalf of partners, and we are seeing an increasing demand in this area. Most recently, we have been working with Basketball England to develop online content and e-learning to support coaches through a blended learning approach who wish to coach independently:

We have also recently worked with British Equestrian Federation, British Wrestling and the FA to develop learning on their behalf.
