We are pleased to be working with Basketball England to revise their coach education pathway and support the recruitment of a new coach development workforce. The new pathway takes into account recent sector changes, The Coaching Game Plan, The Player Development Framework and the environments that coaches operate within to provide an education provision appropriate to the needs of coaches in Basketball.
Last month we worked In conjunction with the London Basketball Association to host the 1st4Sport Level 3 Certificate in Coaching Basketball. The course which was fully subscribed, saw learners explore technical, tactical, physical and psychological skills along with phased planning with macro, meso and micro planning. Many of the coaches will be using this experience to coach on the Basketball England Aspire Programme.
