It’s National Apprenticeship Week and here at Sport Structures we wanted to use this opportunity to showcase all the amazing work our apprentices and employers do. Throughout the week we’ll be sharing information, case studies and figures about our apprenticeship programmes and their positive impact. National Apprenticeship Week is coordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service and is designed to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive effect they have on individuals, businesses and the wider economy.
As a training provider we are proud to be delivering apprenticeships and see first hand how much difference they can make. They are an approved training programme alongside a job that allow individuals to gain industry recognised qualifications alongside valuable work experience in their chosen careers. They improve the knowledge, skills and behaviours of individuals to upskill them and offer excellent future career prospects including high levels of progression in the same company following the completion of an apprenticeship. Because of this, it is an excellent route for individuals to embark on, whatever their age or interest.
Apprenticeships don’t just benefit the apprentices completing them, employers routinely praise the system and the benefits they gain from it. Employers are able to use a cost effective, often government funded, system to train future employees and instil their company values and ways of working. An apprenticeship allows employers to mentor and support apprentices to improve their knowledge and skills directly in the organisation therefore creating an individual who becomes better and more productive in their role.
Apprenticeships can be utilised to upskill current staff or as a cost-effective way of recruiting new talent. At Sport Structures we offer high quality apprenticeships in; sports coaching, sports development, leadership and management, digital marketing, business administration and data analysis. You can find out more about the apprenticeships we offer by clicking here.
It’s no coincidence that apprenticeships are growing in popularity and we hope you’ll join us in celebrating them this week!
