As Government restrictions continue to ease, we are really pleased to announce that Archery GB Instructor courses are now available for booking. The Archery GB Instructor Award is the industry’s leading training course for archery and prepares learners to deliver fun and safe sessions for beginners. Learners can expect to cover the following topics:
- Establish & maintain safety on the archery range
- Guide participants to shoot using the simple phases of barebow
- Select suitable equipment for beginners to use
- Understand how to maintain equipment
- Create inclusive sessions
- Understand the principles of instructing
- Use games and competitions
Over the next two months, we have scheduled courses in Leeds, Birmingham and Taunton. Dates can be found via our website with further courses to be added in the coming weeks. Learners are also able to register their interest in the award and be informed of new course dates in advance.
Lastly, we are also able to support organisations that have a cohort of learners that wish to take the Archery GB Instructor Award and hold the course at their venue. Please contact us to find out more (education@sportstructures.com.)
