This course is for those that wish to become a Coaching Assistant in basketball. This course has been developed to provide learners with the confidence to deliver safe, fun and inclusive basketball sessions under the supervision of an independent coach.

This is the standard level of coaching qualification for all club coaches at local level. The award gives a general overview of all aspects of basketball, and a basic introduction to sports coaching.

This qualification, awarded by Basketball England and 1st4Sport qualifications, equips aspiring coaches to develop high-level basketball players. It's suitable for both paid and voluntary roles within the elite game, enhancing coaching skills.
