Sport Structures - Sport Education and Training
As experts in training with a long-standing commitment to EDI in the sport and physical activity sector, we offer a range of training solutions to support the industry.
We don't just cover the Equality Act as other training providers do; we delve deeper into the underlying reasons why equality training is essential for increasing participation within marginalised communities. Our two workshops equip you and your organisation with practical solutions to learn how to work effectively with underrepresented groups and individuals. We will seek to bring in the lived experiences of those communities to help you develop a more sensitive and inclusive approach.
Who: These workshops are ideal for National Governing Bodies, Active Partnerships, National Sports Organisations and any other sports-based organisations wishing to address inequality through sport.
Format: These workshops can be delivered both face-to-face and online. We will speak to you prior to your training date to fully understand the needs of your organisation to ensure your attendees receive a session tailored to their needs. This conversation will seek to identify your current demographic profile of those employed, participating, officiating, volunteering and coaching. We also need to know who and why are you targeting particular communities and how we can give you lived experiences to support your chosen approach.
Duration: Workshops are delivered as 6 hour face to face or virtual classroom sessions.
Learners: All learners must be at least 18 years of age. Workshops are for a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 20 learners.
Cost: £1000 per workshop (discounts available for multiple bookings).
