Sport Structures - Sport Education and Training

Quality Assurance Support Services

At Sport Structures, quality assurance principles underpin all of the Education and Training courses we offer. We firmly believe that quality assurance should be a supportive and developmental process for tutors, assessors and administrators. Our approach puts the learner experience and the provision of high quality, standardised training at the heart of course delivery. This ensures organisations can have confidence that their training is being delivered as intended and is having a real impact when learners deploy into their chosen role.

Why Use Sport Structures?

Since 2006, we have been delivering education and training with associated quality assurance sampling. This means that we:

·        Have experience of quality assuring both regulated and non-regulated training

·        Have an experienced verifier workforce

·        Are a trusted Approved Centre for multiple Awarding Organisations

·        Have a history of collaborative work with Awarding Organisations

·        Are recognised by CIMSPA as an ‘Enhancing’ Training Provider, their highest endorsement level.

Awarding Bodies:

How We Can Help

Our experienced team can support organisations to implement a risk-based quality assurance programme by:

  • Reviewing or creating quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Reviewing or creating sampling plans and templates
  • Supplying qualified verifiers with an independent viewpoint
  • Compiling summaries of verifier feedback and identifying common themes to inform workforce CPD needs
  • Planning and delivery of workforce standardisation training
  • Providing a range of CPD and qualifications for tutors, assessors and verifiers.

Verifier Service

Our partners often have technical aspects of their courses covered for quality assurance and are looking for an external, independent view of how their workforce can be supported and to understand how learners are receiving courses.

  • Tutor, assessor and verifier observations
  • Portfolio sampling
  • Qualitative Learner interviews
  • Quantitative Course evaluation and consolidation of feedback
  • Reviews of administration processes.
These services can be carried out during on-site visits or remotely, depending on need and circumstances, and planned throughout the year. Training can be regulated or non-regulated.
